MARKET TRENDS

Stronger markets can lead while weaker markets can fall back.

Our Research

Stronger Markets

Strong markets are determined by relative strength filters and trend analysis. We then rank these markets and compare them to major indexes.  If markets are stronger than the indexes, they become potential candidates for investment.

Weaker Markets

In our research and experience, when markets become weak, they tend to stay weak.  And this weakness can stay in place much longer than anyone can predict.  Therefore, it is important to identify these markets so we can avoid them until they start exhibiting signs of strength.

Stronger vs. Weaker

Over time, we observe shifts.  What used to be strong is now weak and vice-versa.  Of course, we also see markets that are neither strong nor weak for a period of time.  We are constantly watching to see what changes occur.

Once a month a current listing of these areas of strength and weakness will published here.  We invite you to re-visit so you can see what is new.
