The anchor....
In September of 1522, Juan Sebastian Elcano became the first person to complete a voyage around the world. The ship was called Victoria and it would not have been possible without the anchor.
Whether you are fishing in a river in the Pacific Northwest or taking a trip around the world, the anchor is an essential tool that makes the voyage possible…and successful. The anchor helps keep you steady in your journey by helping you from drifting off course, when you are wanting to stop.
With investing, we use an anchor like tool. It is called risk management and it is also essential in helping investors get to their destination by helping to minimize downside volatility and potentially help lock in well deserved profits.
