Our Services:
In addition to building and managing investment portfolios, we also help clients with the following:
How big of a bucket do you need?
In other words, how much money do you need to start doing what you want to do….when you want to do it? Many people I speak to have this question about the future. How much is enough? And, what are the best tools to use to get there? At Anchor Wealth Management, we have the experience to help you answer these questions.
After you have figured out how much you need to retire, your way, clients may move on to the next question: When I pass on, how do I make sure it gets distributed the way I want it?
There are several strategies that can give you confidence knowing your wishes are in place. Some of these involve updating beneficiaries, account titling and doing a life insurance review. Basically, helping clients see that everything is current and up-to-date.
One of the strategies to consider is establishing a line of credit, that is backed by an existing portfolio of investments.
This can help provide a certain level of liquidity while not disrupting an existing investment portfolio, due to short term cash needs. It is very efficient and it can help provide confidence in certain situations.

An SBLOC cannot be used for the purchase of additional securities or to pay off a margin loan that was used to purchase securities. Securities based lending has special risks and may not be suitable for everyone.)
College is a big step and it is not cheap! Basically, the cost of a four year university increases around 9% a year. It is has been doing this for the last 25 years and it will probably continue in the years to come.
There are a variety of tools that are available that can help clients plan for their children or grandchildren’s college. There are even some tax advantages that may help in this planning process.
